It takes courage to be vulnerable enough to ask for help. You've already taken your first steps towards growth simply by identifying that something feels wrong and looking for a solution. My main focus as a counselor is to help my clients understand themselves, as well as their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In this understanding can come acceptance, change, and healing.
I prefer to use an eclectic style with counseling so that I can meet a range of different client needs. For the most part, I use Person-Centered, Existential, Dialectical Behavior, and Mindfulness skills in my practice as a counselor. I am also a trauma-focused therapist and have been trained in Somatic Integration and Processing (SIP).
If you are ready to explore and be challenged you've come to the right place. Together we will travel down this path towards healing overcoming bumps and roadblocks through safety and support.
