I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified Hypnotherapist. I provide counseling to address current life issues within academic, residential, or vocational settings and process communication difficulties within relationships. Hypnotherapy is effective with pain management, anxiety, bad habits, sleep issues, and weight loss. I am experienced in working with those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as children and teens displaying cognitive disabilities. Additionally, I provide group and individual counseling to juvenile and adult clients who have experienced or committed sexual trauma.
I have 30 years experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing developmental, processing, behavioral, and emotional issues, as well as working with their families to implement strategies. Additionally, I am experienced in assisting individuals and families to navigate assessments and strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I have experience working with the various State Agencies, as well as the State and Federal Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. I use a variety of techniques such as client centered, cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, and solution focused to assist clients in identifying goals, obstacles, and solutions.
