We can understand together what may get in the way internally and externally of satisfying personal lives & relationships. Often these can be symptoms of negative thinking, painful relationships, or misdirected emotions. Research shows talking to a trained professional can be very helpful. Working together can make you less overwhelmed, improve life decisions, and develop a sense of freedom and authenticity with both yourself and others.

I help couples & families regain closeness and joy in their relationships - to be in love with the people they're committed to. I create a space conducive to healing, which is only possible based on the healing work done in my own life. I'm comfortable with issues some other therapists can avoid.

We naturally have the capacity for healing and growth, but sometimes our life experiences limit getting what we want & need. Within a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship (or therapy group), people show amazing capacity to grow into deeply satisfying lives.

General process groups address a variety of issues -- interpersonal problems, depression, self esteem, trauma, anxiety, dealing with conflict, family of origin concerns, and more. Group is an excellent way to do longer-term maintenance and growth on oneself in the rich context of relationships with others. Many times you can explore working on issues in the moment, rather than just by giving a report. All groups are mixed gender.
