I offer both virtual sessions and onsite sessions. I focus on individual counseling and work with a wide range of adult clients (18 and up) including helping individuals through grief, trauma, anxiety disorders and depression. I also enjoy helping clients with improvements in self-confidence, self-worth and self-image, as well as relational issues.
I use a client centered, eclectic approach to therapy and often utilize cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behaviorall and mindfulness based therapy techniques to aid in individualizing care for each client's specific needs. I believe in helping clients gain new perspectives and insights in order to bring about positive change in their lives.
I have additional experience in school settings. Before beginning my counseling career, I have worked for corporate settings in both sales and managerial roles, so I understand the stressors that can come from those workplace dynamics.
