I have been working in the field for 20 years providing therapy to adults and children. I have helped people with a variety of issues such as trauma, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, autism, grief and loss, addiction, and anger. I am a certified trauma specialist, as well as a certified alcohol and drug counselor. Also, I served in the armed forces for 6 years and feel privileged to work with veterans today.
When working with children, I don't expect them to sit on the couch and spill their feelings. I use an individualized approach that includes play therapy and teaching self calming methods and how to manage emotions. I find that clients of any age appreciate my passion and direct style.
I would like you to know that my Grand Blanc office is in the comfort and privacy of my home. This also allows for more flexible scheduling than many clinics or treatment centers. My Southfield office is a private suite in the North Greenfield Office Park. Both locations offer free parking. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
