Hi:) I'm sorry you have had to be on this search, but I’m glad you found your way here. You have likely been preoccupied wondering why things feel so heavy in your body. Asking yourself why life feels like an unsolvable equation and how to get back to your best self. It is a research-supported idea that our minds create our world, but the world first shaped our minds. All of our lived experiences (past and present) influence the biology of our brains and the perceptions that shape our emotions and behavior. If relationships within our environment help shape us, then new experiences can reshape us.
When we experience adversity, it can leave changes to our nervous system, numerous brain systems, and our body. Because all the systems in the body work together, when they don’t link in a cohesive, harmonious way, this can lead us to constrict and move further away from our best selves.
My area of interest has always been in neurobiology and Eastern psychology. These two areas of study provide clarity, wisdom, and compassion. While neurobiology demystified human suffering, Eastern psychology holds space for your vulnerability, allowing you to tell your story and unravel the confusion around your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behavior.
