My name is Scott Lassiter, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Orange County, California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse/addiction, and trauma. I use psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients begin to cope with current issues, heal from past life experiences, and identify a better future for themselves.
I have found that my style and approach work well with adults who may be dealing with the challenges and stresses of life transitions, past hurt from families and other relationships, or using unhealthy behaviors to cope with life. This often takes the form of anxiety, low energy, chronic feelings of numbness or hurting, fear about the future.
I work together with my clients to help them navigate these transition periods and to build skills that allow them to feel better about themselves now, and find a future vision for themselves of satisfaction, strength and hope.
