My name is Scott Jensen, and I have been a therapist for 20+ years. I worked as a professor of psychology doing research on parenting and behavior problems, until I recently retired from the university with the intent to spend my time helping individuals wanting support. I believe in our power to face and overcome difficulties, and love supporting others in the process. I believe I can help you! I have always been fascinated by what motivates us and how we choose the actions we do. I am really enjoying helping so many people make progress, and would love to be a part of your process as well.
My Focus:
While I have a history of working with clients across a range of issues, I prefer two main treatment specializations: 1) helping individuals overcome sexual/pornography addiction and 2) helping parents struggling with behavior and other issues with their children (both at home and adult children struggles as well).
I know what desperation feels like. I have experienced it in my own parenting and in the struggle to overcome my own issues. It can feel so isolating to be alone in your issues - and being able to share with someone else can make such a difference.
