Hello, my name is Scott and I’m a licensed therapist. While I enjoy working with wide range of people, I specialize in counseling men carrying substantial burdens. This includes men shouldering heavy responsibilities, struggling through loss, or striving to establish a stable and fulfilling life. I’m confident that my personal and professional experiences uniquely position me to support men going through periods of trial or transition.
I know firsthand what it’s like to feel disillusioned, disconnected, or deeply concerned due to life’s pressures and losses. I have also experienced the inner-strength that emerges when burdens lift and new possibilities emerge. Clarity, meaning, and fulfillment are attainable even in the toughest seasons. Life doesn't have to be lived in "survival mode."
I also want to acknowledge the common perception that counseling is unnecessary or inconvenient for men. I once held these sentiments myself. I encourage viewing the initial meeting as an experiment. Counseling can be a refuge from the fast-paced, competitive energy of daily life. Its a chance to pause and reflect. If this sounds good give me a call or text.
