I work with people who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and other emotional/relational difficulties, particularly those struggles that are long-standing and unchanging. While symptom relief is the initial focus, my goal is to also help people understand why they began struggling in the first place, with the hopes the symptoms do not return. Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy can help address wounds related to a person's family of origin or other relationships. Each treatment is tailored to the individual rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
I am a psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist. Psychoanalysis is an intensive form of psychotherapy that addresses long-standing emotional struggles. This approach to therapy gives people a chance to not only overcome current symptoms but also address the root causes of the emotional difficulties.
