Let me help you overcome the challenges of daily living. My name is Scott with 35 years in the mental health field serving individuals and families just like you, who live in Indiana. I am licensed as an LMFT, licensed marriage and family therapist, LMHC, licensed mental health counselor, and LCAC, licensed clinical addictions counselor. Let me share my belief and philosophy on therapy and counseling! I believe that a therapist works best with a client when they take time to first understand the person, their background, and any and all knowledge that may help facilitate the process of therapy.

It is important that, in therapy, we work to provide and cultivate a safe place to share, and a time to work on your concerns, so that you feel better and able to go forward in your life with greater resolve, and more peace of mind. I work in solution focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, and provide psychoeducation as needed as well. While I am not a medical professional and cannot make medical diagnoses, I am conversant with psychopharmacology and can help you perhaps clarify how to communicate with your medical provider.
