Scot has 18 years experience and he understands what if feels like to be stuck; believe us, he’s been there himself. He started his career working at the VA in Houston in trauma recovery with Vietnam, Korean War, and WW2 era veterans. After leaving the VA, Scot worked as a counselor in all levels of care including psychiatric inpatient, residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs for substance abuse and mental health, and again with Michael E. Debakey Veteran's Hospital in supported employment and vocational rehabilitation. He can help if you’re tired of being stuck and are ready to dig in and work on your stuff.
Scot can help you take a look at what is not working in your life and what can done to change it. He uses CBT heavily, but is not limited to those and has training in other approaches as well. He is a veteran of the military and has a lot of experience working with trauma.
