I specialize in couples facing disconnection, individuals struggling with out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB), and those working through alcohol and substance use. Couples often feel stuck in painful cycles of disconnection; I help them see the attachment patterns driving this so they can build lasting security. Clients navigating problematic sexual behavior can carry shame — I use a non-pathologizing, sexual-health-affirming approach to help them understand and adapt their behavior. Those working through substance use are often worn down by cycles of avoidance and relapse; I offer a structured, skills-based approach for change.
My work is grounded in clinical depth: PACT for couples, the AASECT model and Douglas Braun-Harvey's approach for OCSB, and skills-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combined with Somatic Experiencing for substance use. As an LGBTQIA+ community member, I bring lived understanding of sexuality and identity. My orientation is integrative and person-centered.
