So how do we get to a place of self-compassion? Well, our thoughts fuel our feelings, and behaviors can perpetuate a cycle that hurts us or those we care about. Changing the behavior changes the cycle. Understanding why the cycle is there– well, that’s where we find self-compassion. And with it, less negative self-talk, doubt, frustration or anger.
Having completed dual specializations in Forensic Psychology and Clinical counseling, I trained in the psychodynamic approach. However, I draw from various client-centered methodologies, tailoring an holistic approach to best meet the individual's needs.
