Bill is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. He specializes in couples who are seeking marriage enrichment, or trying to overcome difficulties in their relationships, or learning how to connect emotionally. He also works with individuals. His goal is to help clients in their struggles, which will help them reach their full potential in society. Bill knows that life is a journey and sometimes we can get stuck in life. He provides a safe environment where the clients can learn and work on coping skills, so they will feel empowered in life. He focuses on goals that the clients want to work on without feeling judged.

Laura Hout is a certified TEAM-CBT therapist who helps people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotional eating, binge eating disorder (BED), junk food addiction and weight loss. She also helps people overcoming a legacy of trauma, addiction, or mental illness in the family of origin. In addition to TEAM-CBT, Mindfulness/Self-Compassion skills and Relational Life Therapy®, she uses the stories of other survivors to assist her clients' growth. Group workshops encompass coaching, nutrition and neuroscience concepts. Having struggled with BED herself, Laura understands the frustration her clients feel.

First and most importantly, I respect and value the clients who choose to work with me. My counseling style is empathetic, supportive and active. I use the therapeutic relationship to aid in understanding the underlying needs, desires and fears that interfere with an individual's happiness and sense of fulfillment in life. I offer both traditional and experiential treatment options. Experiential treatment options include Play Therapy for younger clients. I believe in a systemic approach to change with a focus on empowering the individual.

I have been providing professional counseling services for over 30 years. My approach is integrative with the intention of working with what resonates with you. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and art therapist I create a safe, welcoming environment that will enable you to create positive change in your life, family and community. Working together we will identify avenues to engage in a value driven life. At times feelings of anxiety and depression act as barriers to our goals and values. Through a variety of techniques, such as mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and art therapy these barriers can be eliminated.

I counsel clients to understand their uniqueness, value themselves, have healthy relationships, and find the courage to persist over adversity while positively shaping their own future.
