In relationships, it can be difficult to achieve the perfect balance between stability and excitement. Perhaps you feel like your relationship is at a crossroads or has become stagnant. Perhaps you are trying to heal from pain and repair the levels of fairness and trust in your relationship.

I believe you and your child deserve specialized care. I work with children, teens, and college students feeling stuck. This often shows up as anxiety, worry, trouble with school, friendships, and family, panic, depression, self-criticism, grief, and major life stress. Parents often reach out at the recommendation of teachers and pediatricians or when life at home feels "off." Services for children age 5+ are available.

Are you feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in painful patterns, or reacting more intensely than you want to? Perhaps anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, trauma, or constant overthinking are leaving you exhausted and disconnected from yourself or others. Sometimes present-day stress can awaken deeper emotional wounds connected to feeling unseen, unsafe, unsupported, or not good enough. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns, process difficult emotions, and develop greater sense of clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more grounded, connected, and resilient.

I am currently accepting NEW clients. You sometimes wonder if anyone around you could understand the battle you’ve been facing each day. It’s as if you and your partner are losing the love you once felt so deeply for each other. No matter how hard you try, it feels like you are stuck, fighting the same battles over and over again. You sometimes wonder how you even got to this place, and long for the connection and trust you once shared. But damage has been done and fear creeps in. Sometimes you both worry, “Can we heal what has been broken? Can we share that connection again?”

Waitlist for new clients
I offer therapy in-person and virtually.
Waitlist for new clients currently. You don’t think therapy has worked for you in the past. You feel alone and find it difficult to be yourself, even with family and friends. Maybe TikTok is the only place you feel seen. This might be because of loss or the family you grew up in, past religious experiences, the exploration of your identity or a chronic medical concern. I believe that there is a solution for everyone. It doesn’t always look the same, but I’m willing to stick with you to find out what that solution is and what works well for you.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
