Coastline Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC is owned and operated by Stacy Cretzmeyer, Ph.D., a licensed professional counselor and National Certified Counselor. She received her Ed.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina and has received extensive post-graduate training. With twenty years of clinical experience, Dr. Cretzmeyer has also taught on the graduate and undergraduate levels and has been a presenter at national and regional counseling conferences. She is a published author and has directed conferences, seminars, and workshops for teachers, counselors, health care professionals, law enforcement personnel, students and parents.
Counseling is available for individuals ages twelve and above, couples and families. Drawing from the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Adlerian therapy, and incorporating Solution-focused, Family Systems, and Narrative therapy techniques, the focus of counseling is on empowering clients to live with integrity as whole, congruent, and authentic individuals.
Specific strategies are designed to assist clients in identifying and capitalizing on their strengths and minimizing patterns and behaviors which evolve over time that often result in a discouraged view of life. The client will be assisted in developing a more intentional, authentic, and fulfilling approach to life, relationships, and society.
