Another day of arguments, misunderstandings, and frustrations. Always taking care of others but forgetting to take care of yourself. Every day is on repeat, and you feel like your spouse does not understand you. You find that you are dreading your time at work and at home. This reality causes you to question everything. Do I still want this relationship? Did I choose the right career? Where do I go in life? Just thinking about spending the rest of your life questioning your relationship and life choices makes you sick to your stomach. All you want is to feel loved and have some clarity.

My focus is couples, men's issues, and trauma-related anxiety.
Couples don’t usually need a better argument. They need a better process. I help couples break negative cycles, reduce escalation, rebuild trust, and restore real connection. This includes communication breakdown, emotional distance, recurring conflict, and trust injuries. I also work with men who feel stuck in stress, anger, emotional shutdown, anxiety, and repeating trauma-related patterns. Sessions are structured and practical. We slow things down, identify patterns driving the problem, and build a clear plan you can use outside of therapy. If you want a therapist who is direct, respectful, and result-focused, I can help.

If you feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break—constantly criticizing yourself, feeling intense shame, or struggling to follow through on the changes you know you want—you’re not alone. You may find yourself caught between wanting to grow and feeling paralyzed by self-doubt, guilt, or fear. Maybe your relationship with food or your body feels overwhelming, or past experiences still shape how you see yourself and others. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with a harsh inner critic, low self-worth, trauma, and patterns that feel difficult to change.

You’re easygoing, helpful, flexible, considerate, attentive, and polite. You go the extra mile to make sure that others' needs are met. Keeping your commitments to others is easy, but showing up for yourself, well.. that’s another story. Your struggles with self-abandonment, rejection, and emotional neglect hold you back from being genuinely happy. It feels like you’ve been living in a haze... just going through the motions. But now, you’re ready for something different. You’re ready to show up for you and really LIVE — that’s where I come in!

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
