Research indicates that the most important factor in a successful outcome in therapy is a positive connection with the counselor where you feel empathy, compassion, and no judgment. My goal is to provide that safe confidential environment where you can share your story as we collaborate to work toward a more healthy "you" and healthier relationships. There is no one else like you emotionally, physically, spiritually or mentally. It can be an exciting journey learning to connect with yourself and others authentically and with an open heart.

I believe everyone goes through times of needing help. I always focus on what is strong, alive, and wise inside of clients, even when they feel they have nothing to offer but pain and confusion. I offer deep and compassionate listening and use various methods including energy techniques for healing trauma, CBT, REBT, mindfulness and nature-based healing.
My coaching philosophy is simple: It's about moving forward . . . without looking behind. We will begin our first session by completing this statement: "I want ____________, but I can't because _____________." As your coach, I will (1) Assess the area(s) preventing you from moving forward (what's got you stuck?); (2) Identify where it is you want to be in life personally and professionally; and (3) Develop a roadmap to get you there.
I can't believe this is happening.! Sound familiar? Did you catch your spouse cheating on you? Betrayal, fear, shame, anger, rage, sadness, hyper-vigilance and a host of other intense emotions are consuming your life. Maybe your spouse hasn't cheated on you. Maybe you have drifted apart and you feel like roommates. Is your spouse distracted, spending hours on the computer or clinging to the phone? Do you feel emotionally, physically and spiritually cut off? Have you caught your spouse watching porn? Often times, porn is a major contributor in intimacy disorders and sex addictions. Don't give up, there is hope!

Hi friends! Welcome to Trinity Counseling! If you've landed here, I just want you to know how brave and strong you are for beginning the process of taking that first step for self-care, or for seeking care for a close friend or family member. I am currently in a temporary closing for my office, as I am in the transition process of developing a ministry for women and teens through writing and speaking. Throughout the pandemic, I received such an influx of calls and emails, the need was impossible to meet. I needed to pursue meeting people's needs in a much bigger way - and I am hoping to do so once my ministry comes into fruition.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a short-term, evidence-based treatment for kids ages 2.5 to 7 years old who exhibit behaviors such as anger, hyperactivity, trouble focusing, frequent tantrums, aggression, and anxiety. Caregivers learn and implement play therapy techniques that help kids regulate their emotions, increase focus, and strengthen the parent-child relationship. Caregivers learn concrete strategies to promote consistency, predictability, and motivate their child to follow directions. PCIT with Toddlers is an adaptation of PCIT for kids ages 12-24 months with similar behavior concerns.
If your teenager is in turmoil and you don't know what to do I can provide them with a safe place to take a deep breath and unload their problems. Being a teenager is hard enough and the ever-increasing demands and pressures from school and society can take their toll. Along with adolescents and their families, my other area of specialty is help and healing for women who are having emotional difficulties after having an abortion. For some women, this experience can cause severe anxiety, guilt, anger and bitterness. I am trained to help you through this, grieve the loss and move forward in a completely non-judgmental setting.
There's nothing worse than feeling like just another client in a counselor's rotation. You're sitting there pouring out your heart, while he/she glances at their watch, making sure you're not going past your allotted time slot. I see people and I know that the circumstances you're facing are real, and they have a real impact on how your life is lived. When you sit down with me, you get more than some fancy counseling lingo, you get a person who genuinely cares about your well-being. And best of all? You'll leave with practical tools that will help you thrive in real life.
Are you afraid of change? Be kind to yourself. Seek help. Take time for you. You have the answers deep within you. Hiding from pain will only worsen the symptoms, behaviors and relationships. I believe each person has the ability to be their own healer. I see treatment as an opportunity for clients to remove the fear in their life and gain peace, happiness and self-confidence. My ultimate goal is to provide a genuine and safe environment.Through mistakes and failure, we can become resilient. I am honored to provide guidance in this vital journey.
