I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents. My training includes a postdoctoral degree and 3 years on staff at the Stanford University School of Medicine Division of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, staff at the Adolescent Pavilion (inpatient care) at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, milieu therapist on the child psychiatric inpatient unit at Children's Hospital Chicago, and 15+ years in private practice in California & SC with a focus on cognitive-behavioral treatment of adolescents ages 11-22. I focus exclusively on this age group and enjoy addressing the unique psychological issues of this stage of development.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Florida International University, and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Savannah State University and has been a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Georgia since 2017. I am currently attending school for her PhD in Psychology. I am excited to bring my passion and experience to the community.

My 50 years of experience in the behavioral change and personal growth and potential field has afforded many experiences in many facilities, currently a private practice setting. My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, focused on solutions. Psychophysiology is another area of emphasis for me and I address this with Biofeedback, Neurofeedback and Passive Infrared Hemoencephalogrophy, procedures effective for anxiety, stress mangaement, chronic pain, ADD, and optimal performance.

I am a Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, as well as relationship and work issues. I have specialized training in EMDR, alcohol abuse, and am a certified grief counselor. I use a solution-oriented approach, integrating various techniques depending on individual needs. Pregnancy and the postpartum period can be an extremely emotional experience for moms. Many changes happen mentally and physically that can make this time period challenging. As many as 1 in 7 moms will experience a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD). PMAD can occur at any point from conception through postpartum, sometimes extending into a lengthy course of time if not treated. If you are a mom with these issues, you might feel alone, helpless and fearful of how to ask for help with PMADs.
