About
I am a English/Japanese speaking therapist. I have two cultural backgrounds, so I can provide different perspectives and different point of views in our work together. I am grateful to navigate you searching life meanings and making sense of your life, also to support you taking courageous steps toward achieving wellness. I practice Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help you get unstuck from unhelpful thoughts, and to communicate/validate inner self. I look at therapy as riding with you on your journeys. I, as a therapist, can guide you choose a least harmful course for your journey, and the best course for that moment.
I offer individual, couple, and family therapy. For individual therapy, I work with teenagers and adults, also military personnel and their family.
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is effective for people who are suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma (PTSD), identity crisis including self esteem issues and cultural adjustment issues.
