We will put our heads together to uncover how beliefs about yourself and the world came to be, and how some may be preventing you from feeling satisfied in life. We often come to therapy when we are feeling stuck, and I want to work with you to understand what barriers are in the way to your feeling as alive and fulfilled as you hope to be.
I specialize in treating anxiety and depression that often stem from relationship difficulties, career indecision, family of origin challenges, and significant life changes. We will work together to understand how your life experiences have shaped your coping skills, which ones continue to work, and which ones you may want to adapt to better serve you.
I provide a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space for our work. My approach is shaped by my advanced training in psychodynamic/relational psychotherapy and trauma-centered treatment, and I incorporate CBT and mindfulness when appropriate.
