About
Are you struggling to navigate relationships, friendships, and balancing school or work at the same time? When we think we have it all figured out, life throws us a curve ball, the death of a loved one or loss of a job. Imagine adding a layer of anxiety or depression. What about introversion? Just for fun, let's also add a layer for people that identify as LGBTQ+. Coming out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non binary, or gender fluid can be confusing for your straight, cis family and friends. Whether you identify with this because you experience this regularly or someone you love feels this way.
Therapy with me would be centered around identifying your specific stressors. We would work on skills to build your confidence around expressing your thoughts and feelings so that you can develop stronger relationships with yourself and others. If you identify as LGBTQ, then we will also focus on the journey of coming out if that is part of your plan.
Once you have these skills in place, you’ll gain real life experience in lessening your stress and anxiety until it no longer controls your thoughts. I help individuals with anxiety and depression, introverts, and LGBTQ folks manage their stressors everyday. Check out my website for more detailed information.
