About
Are you or someone you know a victim of trauma? Have you experienced a loss or are struggling with a difficult life transition? Do you feel disconnected and misunderstood? I specialize in addressing the conflicting emotions and self-doubt that accompany grief/loss, life transitions, and complex trauma. Whatever your story may be, I strive to support families and individuals as they address unresolved trauma, make sense of their past, and move forward to create a healthy, fulfilling life.
I have an individualized treatment approach. I specialize in attachment and trauma but may use CBT and mindfulness to help you regain levels of functioning. I am certified in Theraplay® Level I and II, am an EMDR® (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) practitioner, and trained in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention).
I make it a priority to connect with my patients, to honor where they are in life. I strive to cultivate a safe therapeutic relationship. The resulting space is free of judgement and one of pure empathy & acceptance, as I truly believe that everyone is doing the best that they can with what they have.
