Hello, I’m Savannah (she/her). I am a Native (Ojibwa) woman originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. One of the most important parts of therapy is having a connected and trusting relationship with your therapist. I approach sessions with empathy and curiosity, often by asking open-ended and follow-up questions, so that I can get to know the true you and get a feel for what life is like in your shoes. I appreciate the strength and vulnerability it takes to open up and speak about your challenges, and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
I am a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) trained in providing clinical therapy. I use a person-centered approach, meaning that I will use various techniques to tailor therapy to your specific preferences and needs. My approach is also strengths-based: You are the expert on yourself and have the ability to choose and create the life you want.
I would love to partner with you by offering a supportive, outside perspective to guide you in self-exploration, building coping skills, and moving from surviving to thriving.
