My current practice includes a focus on mental health needs for adults and young adults (age 18-99) dealing with difficult life transitions and mental health needs and caregiver struggles. I have past experience working in a nursing home setting so I am well versed in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care and Behaviors as well as family and caregiver needs for that population. I use an eclectic approach that includes a focus on DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Motivational Interviewing, with a Trauma informed lens.
I provide clients and caregivers with the tools, resources, and emotional support as they navigate their own journey and find peace. I am here to companion the process you embark on.
Facing the challenges of mental illness, grief, or caregiver fatigue can make the path to healing feel incredibly daunting. It's important to remember, though, that experiencing these difficulties does not mean you are broken. You are so much more capable than you realize.
