Therapy is a a collaborative process in which we use your own strengths to help you live the life you desire. Perhaps something is in your way, blocking you from living a life where you feel content and empowered. Therapy can help. I am passionate about working with anyone who wants something in themselves or their lives to change. My experience includes (but is not limited to) working with individuals who have experienced trauma including combat and sexual assault, life transitions including postpartum, infidelity, anxiety, mood dis-regulation, low self worth, suicidal ideation, self harm behavior, codependency and psychosis.
I work with adolescents age 13 and older, young adults, adults, older adults and couples. Together we will use both cognitive (thought process) and "bottom up" or somatic techniques to help you move through what might be holding you back.
I am training a future therapy dog named Chelsea. She is a rescue Labrador and is 3 year old. She looks forward to snuggling next to you on the couch!
