I specialize in helping people contemplate life transitions, relationship patterns and/or core beliefs (conscious and un) that inform behaviors and choices. I pay close attention to complex family dynamics and help clients unravel, and heal, the wounds that may have originated there. I can be useful in situations where the health of one member affects the wellbeing of the entire family. I help people explore the dynamics at play in depression, anxiety and self-esteem, with an emphasis on healthy outcomes both intra and interpersonally. I assist with trauma healing and grief/loss. I assist clients with their actualizing potential.
I specialize in carefully helping clients approach their core wounds, which may have led to maladaptive coping tendencies, diminished self-esteem or mood disturbance. In exploring those wounds, we also set about healing them so that the client can re-organize how they related to self and others. I am interested in my client's meaning making process.
My aim is to gently-yet effectively-guide clients through self-exploration, with the goal of expanded insight to the internal mechanisms that drive our lives. My client's emotional/psychological safety is crucial to me and I am attuned to this throughout each session. We will build upon natural strenths/resilience, moving forward in wholeness & authenticy.
