I've been in therapy for many years, so I appreciate what it means for you to be here. If you are looking for a non-judgmental space to explore barriers which prevent you from achieving an authentic version of happiness, calmness, and emotional safety, I’d love to work with you. Life can feel overwhelming, heavy, and unpredictable, which creates a cycle of worry and an inability to change patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Therapy is the space to make those shifts, at a pace that is comfortable for you. True change requires honesty, curiosity, accountability, and compassion for yourself, which are all integral to my approach.
As a result of over a decade in the field, I specialize in working with adults who struggle with trauma, immigration identity, and feelings of abandonment. I also offer support in exploring depression, anxiety, sexuality, and life transitions, particularly through the relationship you have with yourself and others.
Finding the right therapist should be seen as any other high-quality service - it takes trial + error, some awkwardness, maybe some tears + laughs . But that's how it should be! I find it a true privilege for you to allow me into your most vulnerable spaces of your identity and the future you want. Also, my very curious cat, Maui, may make an appearance!
