I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who focuses on the person. Thinking outside the box is crucial for helping all types of situations. Although I treat all ages and sexes, I prefer to work with teenagers and adults on the Telehealth platform. I provide group therapy, substance abuse services and can connect you to other community service providers if needed. My experience in treating clients includes depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, marriage/family issues, career, and trauma/grief.
I have worked within the Criminal Justice and Mental Health fields for over 25 years. My passion is helping in a holistic (mind, body, and soul) manner. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, as well as Grief Therapy. Currently getting trained as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional.
I am a very empathetic therapist, and I like to meet my clients where they are. With that being said, I tend to laugh with my clients, carefully build a trusting and caring relationship, and provide genuine positive regard. We set goals according to the needs at the time, and I have no problem with talking about all subject matters.
