The human experience comes with a unique set of challenges for every one of us. Starting therapy can be such a vulnerable process but it can be so gratifying and life changing if you are willing to show up for yourself and put in the work. Personal experience with therapy has led me to this profession where I am able to actively support individuals experiencing the heavy realities of depression, anxiety, trauma, shame, and more.
I believe that our strengths are brought to light as we meet difficult circumstances and learn healthy ways of growing within and beyond them. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of vulnerability. When we allow ourselves to work through discomfort we often surprise ourselves and begin to find evidence that we are capable of much more than we ever imagined.
I work with individuals facing challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, shame, troubled interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. I teach and utilize concepts from evidence-based practices including DBT, CPT, and Art Therapy. I am Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and I specialize in selective mutism treatment with PCIT-SM.
