Understanding your young child's needs can be confusing and draining -- I offer ways to bring more joy and less stress to you and your child. You are an essential & cherished part of your child's therapy. As a guide in your relationship, I can help you to: explore what your child is communicating; understand his/her perception; read his/her cues; support strong emotions and behaviors; teach him/her how to cope; integrate past difficulties; heal; learn new parenting skills; and connect more deeply. We'll work together through the power of play, activities, discussion, reflection, modeling, skill development, and body awareness.

I work with children under 6 years old and parents to support emotional & behavioral concerns, anxiety, adoption, transitions, grief & loss, selective mutism, school adjustment, somatic symptoms, trauma, and parenting skills. I offer counseling based on attachment, development, neuroscience, nervous system regulation, trauma-responsive care, and mindfulness.

My hope is to provide a space where young children and caregivers can feel and practice curiosity, empathy, understanding, acceptance, and connection. I also provide infant and early childhood mental health consultation to program managers, home visitors, child care providers, students, and other professionals.
