Do you want to break free from painful experiences in your past? You can heal the wounds that have been holding you back, and live your life more authentically and joyfully. I work with people who are survivors of trauma, such as childhood abuse and neglect, intimate partner violence, and sexual abuse and assault, or are adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families. I'm also a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, polyamory-friendly and kink-informed therapist, and I'm passionate about helping clients with issues regarding sexuality and sexual identity. Let's work together to make meaningful and lasting changes.
My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and empowerment-focused. I integrate attachment theory, EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work with my clients to treat mind-body symptoms and alleviate distress related to traumatic or painful experiences. I bring authenticity, insight, humor, and compassion into each session.
Through our work together, you can release feelings of guilt and shame, discover self-compassion and self-acceptance, and learn new and healthier ways of coping with what life throws your way. You can learn to listen to your own inner wisdom and gain clarity about the life you want to lead. Whatever struggles you may be facing right now, there is hope.
