Life has become increasingly more difficult and demanding for us all. The therapeutic alliance is the single most important factor in a person’s ability to do the difficult work necessary to live a healthier and more enjoyable life. Providing a safe space for one to share and process life’s challenges has always been a paramount goal of mine. You need to be met where you're at with compassion, empathy and grace! I believe this is necessary for any one of us to grow and flourish and I believe that I am the one to help you do it!
I have worked extensively to support parents and guardians of special needs children, utilizing a supportive and trauma informed approach. I work with teens, adults and couples to manage trauma, grief and life stressors through use of CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing. I focus on a non-judgmental environment that allows for growth.
Mental health IS health! Honoring the connection between our mind and our body is paramount in our overall well-being. Cycles can be broken and I invite you to contact me so we can go through this journey together!
