Beginning therapy can be an overwhelming process and finding the right fit with a therapist is key to facilitating change. While I have many “tools in my toolbox” through years of experience and training, I believe the most important piece in the therapeutic relationship is connection and creating a safe space to allow vulnerability to be present. I utilize an attachment and trauma lens in my work, as I believe we learn how to function given the families, relationships and communities in which we grow up.
I have extensive experience working with pre-teens (ages 10-12), teenagers and adults in a variety of settings, including school mental health, outpatient mental health, and residential services. My areas of expertise include working with trauma, attachment, relationship issues, parenting support, anxiety and depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation.
I look forward to connecting with you - if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please feel free to give me a call or an email.
