Thank you for your interest in my practice. I am a licensed psychologist with 15 years of clinical experience. I enjoy working with clients ages 16+. Areas of special interest include difficulties with mood, anxiety, and stress; trauma and post traumatic stress; grief and loss; transition and relationship concerns; veteran's experiences; and management of chronic illness. I support identity exploration involving race, class, gender, sexuality, and ability. I help teens, young adults, and those in middle and older age navigate challenging transitions, nurture their connections, and create meaning and joy.
My approach is relational, active, and compassionate. I use evidence-based strategies focused on coping actively, creating change, and finding relief and acceptance. I often balance a focus on the present with a focus on understanding the effects of the past. In addition to my practice, I supervise psychology trainees and provide psychotherapy at a hospital.
Our world is challenging to live in and connection helps! I would be happy to schedule a brief consultation call and answer any questions you might have about my approach. Feel free to reach out via email or telephone.
