My name is Sarah Veliz and I practice in the metro-Detroit area. My practice is 100% telehealth and I can see a client located anywhere in Michigan. I accept private pay, BCBS and Medicare. I have been practicing for 10+ years and have a strengths-based solution focused approach. I believe therapy can be beneficial for anyone and that everyone has the ability to meet their own goals. I offer a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere.
I provide care for all stressors related to pregnancy and/or parenting (infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, postpartum adjustment, parenting challenges). I have had personal experiences in this area, which I believe adds value to the therapeutic experience. I also have a strong passion for providing affirmative and accepting care to the queer community.
Reaching out for therapeutic support can be difficult and frightening. I recognize that many people have a journey that leads them to therapy- I seek to meet you wherever you are in that journey. I believe therapy is for everyone and seek to make therapy a warm and inviting environment.
