I specialize in working with adults and teens who are experiencing grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and addiction. I draw on various evidence-based practices in my work, and also believe in the healing power of nature, art, spirituality, books, routines and rituals, movement, alignment with core values, humor, infinite curiosity, a warm and nonjudgemental therapeutic relationship, and my clients’ innate wisdom and strengths. I also believe we are shaped by our environments, and work with clients on identifying sources of support and healing in their environments, as well as ways they have been impacted by harmful systems.
Together, we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy and identify your goals and needs. You may need a safe space for grief to be witnessed. You may be seeking understanding of and healing from trauma. You may want tools for breaking free from fears, addictive behaviors, shame, or thought patterns that are getting in the way of the life you want.
We will chart a course together, and along the journey, I'll support you with introspection and reflective feedback; practical tools, activities, and creative exploration; and most of all, a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space.
