Welcome! I specialize in counseling children ages 3 to 12. It is my desire to provide a safe, friendly, and non-judgmental environment to encourage exploration, healing, and the development of new skills. I work collaboratively with clients and their parents as we look at the relationships between emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and life events.
My training and experience has focused primarily on issues and treatment of children, adolescents and their families. I frequently use play therapy, sand tray and other expressive methods which help children communicate emotions and practice new skills. I individualize therapy according to the age, developmental level, strengths, and needs of each client.
