Seeking counseling is a sign of hope. I strive to create a compassionate, grounded, and non-judgmental collaboration with you to facilitate change and help you move forward in a meaningful way. Let's tap into your strengths to get the most out of our sessions, making space for new insights and skills, and improving communication. My expertise includes helping people heal from past hurts and traumas, navigating life transitions, relationships (family, intimacy, parenting), depression, anxiety, stress reduction, conflict resolution, and grief/loss. I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are committed to growth.
My clients have diverse symptoms, backgrounds, and experiences. Life is hard, and many of life’s difficulties and why people seek treatment are not necessarily mental health disorders. It’s ok to seek help just for having a hard time navigating life, feeling stuck and wanting a reset. You will see that I am kind, open, direct, insightful, and nonjudgmental.
My approach is always client-centered and strengths-based. While I use evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), motivational interviewing, and EMDR, each session is tailored to you. I want you to feel encouraged, empowered, and informed when making decisions about how you invest your time and money for your mental health.
