Welcome to Skoog Healing & Mental Health Solutions, PLLC! I am Dr. Sarah Skoog, PhD, LPC-S, Owner and Licensed Professional Counselor. I want to help you address the obstacles in your life that are keeping you from living life at your full potential. I use what is called an integrative therapeutic approach to therapy, and I am first and foremost a client-centered therapist. I focus on the YOUR needs, goals and objectives in therapy. I know this is hard, I’ve been there! I will do it with you. I strongly believe that every individual deserves quality mental health care, respect, empathy and compassion! I often a human developmental approach to therapy, meaning I focus on your reports of experiences, and I look for the developmental patterns of the issues to get to the root of the problem. I do not believe in providing “bandaids”, because I’d rather help you find the core of the issue. THEN things really start to grow and change.
