I am currently providing fully virtual therapy for individual and couples work. My clients often arrive to therapy because previous therapies focused on cognitive behavioral interventions where they are mostly talking is no longer working. I help clients go much deeper by carefully tuning into and dialoguing with the younger child, teenager, and young adult who has often been neglected despite receiving basic forms of care. My clients move from feeling self judgement and self hate, to learning exactly how to speak to themselves in ways that regulate their nervous system and repair their relationships to others.
Our work will be about helping you to deal with overcoming the unconscious anxiety about experiencing feelings fully so they don't becoming overwhelming or stuck. When we get practiced in noticing feelings in our bodies, we can move through them and get more relief, acceptance, and new insight.
I am training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR, powerful forms of therapy designed to promote connection, healing, and growth.
