I work primarily with teens and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and the pressure of figuring out who they are and where they want to go. A lot of my clients seem to have things together on the outside, but feel overwhelmed internally - caught in perfectionism, self-doubt, difficulty accepting their past, or uncertainty about the future. I help clients make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface and build tools to help you feel more confident, resilient, and less overwhelmed.
My interest in this work started when I was a resident director on a college campus, and I’ve since worked as a counselor in both college and church settings. I draw from ACT, CBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, and am trained in EMDR. I also have experience integrating a faith-based perspective for clients who are interested.
