About
I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed psychologist who uses evidence-based approaches working with children, teens, and young adults. I utilize cognitive-behavioral (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy for adolescents (IPT-A), and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to develop collaborative relationships and reach my clients' goals. I specialize in providing a culturally sensitive approach to treating anxiety, depression, and stress/trauma. I have specialized training in treating chronically ill youth by providing support with new diagnosis, adjustment to treatment, and managing health behaviors.
I have a passion for working with children, adolescents and young adults who have experienced stress and trauma. I work from a culturally-sensitive, collaborative and empathetic treatment approach to support my client's goals and healing journey. I am also part of the GALAP directory and provide access to letters for gender affirming access to medical care.
I work at Compass Therapy, a small private practice located in Newport Beach. Compass Therapy is a group of mental health professionals specializing in providing high quality, evidence-based, compassionate care who work collaboratively to meet your needs. Visit our website or give us a call to find out more (www.compass-therapy.com).
