About
As a therapist, I've been described as authentic, knowledgeable, and compassionately direct. With me you will find a soft place for hard conversations –‒ a place to see yourself, your environment, and your choices more clearly so you can best decide how to create peace in the struggle of living.
I’m passionate about working with adolescents and discovering the big hearts they mask with problematic behaviors, unhelpful coping styles, and avoidance.
I also love working with young adults and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, family issues, body image issues, substance use, and emotional dysregulation. I am Columbia University educated, where I worked towards additional specializations in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, family systems, mindfulness, and substance abuse.
