I provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy to treat a range of mental health concerns in preteens, teens, and adults. I specialize in treating depression, including suicidal thoughts, self-harm, trauma and stress, and co-occurring anxiety. I also enjoy working with folks who have difficulties controlling their anger and emotions which may have led to problems in their life, including arguments, aggression, relationship problems, loneliness, and unhealthy coping skills. I also offer consultation and support to parents/guardians who are navigating challenging emotions and behaviors in their children and teens.
I help clients learn skills to thrive in their lives using a validating and direct approach. I enjoy using DBT and CBT, and I use a strengths-based approach in my therapy to tailor evidence-based treatments to meet the individual needs of each client. Together, we will create individualized treatment plans that will result in meaningful changes in your life.
Taking the first step to improve your mental health can be tough. You are so strong for being here! If you are looking for support for yourself or your (pre)teen, I would love to discuss how my therapy approach can fit your needs. I am LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse affirming and welcome discussions around these identities in our sessions!
