I provide high-quality, evidence-based treatments to my clients to treat a range of mental health concerns, including trauma and stress-related disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, behavior concerns, and caregiver-child conflicts. I have a particular focus in treating children, teens, and young adults who have experienced trauma and major life stressors, are experiencing significant anxiety, or have difficulties controlling their emotions and behaviors. I also work with caregivers to build skills to manage ADHD and oppositional behaviors in their children and teens.
My approach is warm and validating. Because each client I see is unique, I incorporate a strengths-based and culturally-responsive approach in my therapy to tailor evidence-based treatments to meet the individual needs of each client. I strive to create collaborative treatment goals and plans with each client that I work with.
Everyone feels stressed, sad, scared, and angry at some point in their life. It can be difficult to know when these feelings are part of normal life and when they are cause for concern. If you are looking for support and treatment for yourself or your child/teen, I would love to discuss how evidence-based therapy can help.
