As daily life becomes more complex, many individuals face challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues, difficulty balancing work and life, and unresolved trauma. In my practice, I work with clients to clarify their struggles, set goals, and gain insight into emotional and relational difficulties. Through a collaborative approach, I help clients tap into their strengths and build coping skills to achieve greater balance and well-being.

I utilize an integrated approach that includes mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, positive psychology, EMDR and art therapy. As a licensed substance abuse treatment specialist, I also assist clients and their families in understanding addiction and developing strategies that support recovery and long-term wellness.

Sarah Pitkin, LPC, is a registered supervisor offering individual and group supervision services that are designed to provide residents in counseling with the pre-requisite skills required to function independently as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. LMFT candidates are also permitted to half of their supervision with an LPC supervisor. In addition, supervision toward credentialing as a Licensed Certified Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP) and Art Therapists pursuing certification (ATR-BC). Group Supervision (Currently via Zoom) Second Saturday of Each Month (9am-1pm) Cost: $125 Individual Supervision (Currently via Zoom) Cost: $110
