Many of us desire a sense of calm, connection, and well-being. Yet life circumstances and even parts of ourselves can prevent us from having these experiences in our day to day lives. Providing a safe and non-judgmental place to explore your struggles and emotional pain is essential to my practice. I feel honored to support those who desire to grow and heal.
My specialties include: trauma/abuse, mood/anxiety disorders, grief, family of origin issues, and relationships. I provide consultation and counseling services to adults 18+. I use a somatic (body-based) approach to therapy, which helps clients to work and heal at deep level. I welcome people of all sexual orientations, religions, and ethnic backgrounds.
Ideally, I like to work with people who are committed to their personal growth and are motivated to participate in the work of therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is partnership and it requires both the client and the therapist to work together to find what works.
