Have you tried therapy before and felt misunderstood or unsupported? Unfortunately this is a common experience, especially if you're neurodivergent. For a long time developmental conditions like ADHD and autism have been viewed as problems to be solved and many therapists have been insensitive to the unique needs and experiences of people with these conditions. I believe that neurodivergent people deserve the same quality of care as neurotypical folks, and I strive to provide sensitive, individualized, and neurodivergent-affirming care to my clients.
My practice is based on a foundation of empathy and acceptance. I help people to process their past and present experiences with traditional talk therapy, but I can also utilize more experiential approaches that have the power to get to the root of deeply-held traumas. Ultimately, I aim to help my clients unburden themselves from the pain of their pasts.
