I am an experienced therapist working with young people. My main goal is that the person I am working with feels respected and that we can work toward a trusting relationship. I enjoy working with clients who have chronic or life changing medical diagnoses, disordered eating, grief and loss, are seeking gender affirming care, or need some support around anxiety, depression, or adjustment to a major life change. I also love working with neurodivergent clients, in particular those who self recognize or are diagnosed later in life.
I love expressive techniques, such as using art and creativity to "say" the things that words sometimes don't do justice. I am open minded and respectful of your opinions and experiences. I have trained as a Gestalt therapist and am currently working toward certification in the Oaklander method which incorporates Gestalt and play for work with children.
